- 2 oz gin
- 6-8 juniper berries
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 red grapes
- 4 oz tonic water
Let's get creative and take a journey to Lisbon and experience a 'Portuguese' style Gin Tonic!
Chill your glass
Now add the Juniper berries to your glass. Before adding the Juniper berries, gently crush them with the top of your fingers. This will help to release the aromas. Cut the grapes in half and add them, after pour your Gin and let it rest for 1 or 2 minutes, stir.
It's time to add your ice, use plenty of it, to reduce melting; this will also help enhance the flavors of your drink.
Pour your tonic, it should bubbly and cold. As you pour, keep it close to the ice. This will reduce the amount of lost gas. Add the bay leaf and stir gently.
Let it rest! It is important to let it rest about 30–40 seconds before drinking so both gin and tonic absorb all the flavors of the botanicals and fruit.
Cheers, and enjoy!
