The Perfect Gin Tonic
Our way
Steps-
To start your Gin Tonic look at our tips on how to prep from our home page.
Start by adding the ices cubes to your glass. Use plenty of ice, to reduce melting; this will help enhance the flavors of your drink.
Add a fresh slice of lime and a cumber slice (wash them well).
Before adding the cardamom and juniper, gently crush with the palm of your hand; This will help to release their aromas.
Pour your Gin. Always 1 part of gin and two parts of tonic.
Pour your tonic, it should bubbly and cold. As you pour, keep it close to the ice. This will reduce the amount of lost gas. To make it less carbonated, stir gently for a few seconds with a spoon.
Garnish with a Rosemary sprig.
Let it rest. It is important to let it rest about 30–40 seconds before drinking so both gin and tonic absorb all the flavors of the botanicals.
